Penny McDonald

Penny McDonald first began having Alexander Technique lessons 25 years ago when she was performing with Death Defying Theatre a street theatre company based in Sydney. In June 1996 she completed the three year training course to teach the Alexander Technique. For the past thirteen years she has taught in a private practice as well as teaching the technique for six years at the Australian National Academy of Music, and the Alexander Teacher Training Course on voice and performance days, she has also run workshops at the Victorian College of the Arts Drama School, and the National Drama School.

Penny splits her time between teaching the Alexander Technique and continuing to work in the theatre and events industry. She is a stage manager and co-runs an event company.
